Calcium silicate board and high-pressure manufactured bricks generated from automotive shredder resi
Absrtact |
In this work, the hydrocyclone separation process was applied to separate the automotive shredder residue (ASR). According to the variation of density, the hydrocyclone could separate the ASR into the light-mass flow and the heavy-mass flow. Furthermore, the FLUENT flow simulations were help to calculate the fractional efficiencies in hydrocyclone separators. The separated light-mass flow, such as plastics and floss, might be used as alternative materials in calcium silicate board manufacturing. The glass material and stones might be applied in high-pressure manufactured bricks product. The XRD crystallization analysis and subsequence functional and environmental properties tests were help for characteristics affirmation. Accordingly, the industrial by-product could be promoted for use the resource recycling target was achieved.
